Kids’ Quest is our catechism instruction program for children 4-years-old—4th grade. Catechism is simply a method of learning in the question and answer format, a very useful tool when teaching children the basics of the Christian faith.
Kids’ Quest is based on the Westminster Shorter Catechism. It’s an important part of the disciple-making process with our children, as we teach them what we believe and why we believe it.
There are 150 questions and answers in the entire program which are taught over a 3-year period. Children who complete each part of the catechism earn awards. Children who complete the entire catechism—recited in one sitting with word-perfect recitation—receive a Bible with their name engraved on it.
Club time is active and fun. We play lots of games and award prizes for memorization, all with the goal to train the children to think biblically and to live for Jesus Christ. We want to prepare them now while they are young to answer life’s challenges with the truth of the Bible.
When we faithfully study God’s Word, our view of Him is expanded, our faith blossoms, our homes are strengthened, the church is rejuvenated, our praise to God flows, and subsequently God is glorified.
Please consider Kids’ Quest as a vital part of your child’s Christian education.
