Junior Leadership is all about teaching kids to serve in the church while they are still young. “Tweens”, kids in 4–6th grade, have a lot of energy, excitement and desire to serve. It’s a great time to encourage their growing faith with the opportunity of Christian service.
Junior Leaders serve in Kids’ Quest Catechism Club on Sunday nights, helping younger children learn their catechism questions and answers and assisting teachers with room set-up, puppet skits and leading the children in games.
They receive monthly training with an emphasis on servant leadership and honor. And because we were created to glorify God, Junior Leaders participate in a weekly Bible study to strengthen their faith and learn from His Word what it means to reflect God’s glory to those we serve.
We know from Scriptural example that you don’t have to wait to grow up to serve God. The Junior Leadership Team is a great place for kids who want to learn about leadership and who want to serve in the church now.
JLT Schedule:
Monthly training meetings held on the 1st Sunday of each month, 4:30–6:00PM.
Weekly Kids’ Quest service on Sunday nights, September–May, 5:45–7:1 |
