“The goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” (1 Timothy 1:5, NIV)
I long to teach God’s Word as it is meant to be taught. This verse reminds me that the most intelligent and insightful teaching means nothing if it does not stimulate love, integrity and faith. And the goals of faith, a clean conscience and love are so worthy and wonderful that they demand the most intelligent and insightful teaching possible.
