The Missions Committee

• identifies, encourages and supports people called to be a part of God’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
• communicates regularly with the church about missionaries and missions activities
• prays and encourages the congregation to pray for career and short-term missionaries
• communicates with missionaries and identify their needs for prayer, material support and assistance
• encourages the congregation to be involved with our missionaries to build long-term relationships
• promotes short-term mission trips
• organizes mission conferences, and other activities to encourage the congregation to be a part of what God is doing
• oversees our Missionary Advocates program (each of our missionaries is assigned a church member to connect them with our congretation and advocate for them)
