Pioneer Clubs is an outreach ministry here at SPEP. Girls bring their friends; families participate in events with their daughters. As we involve girls in the program and their families in its events, we bring them into a Bible-based program, staffed with leaders who care about the girls and love the Lord. Girls learn in club what the Bible says, and learn what it means to be a Christian through Bible study and practical application through the Bible awards. Girls have come to club asking questions about our Savior, and then have talked about what they've heard with their families.
Our ministry year corresponds with the school year, so that a Pioneer year begins in September and ends in May.
Pioneer Clubs is a national program, supporting clubs through a Bible-based curriculum with supporting materials. Here at SPEP, our program serves girls at five age levels:
- Scooters (PreK- kindergarten),
- Voyagers (1st-2nd grade),
- Pathfinders (3rd-4th grade),
- Trailblazers (5th-6th grade)
- Challengers (7th-8th grade).
Each level works on its own set of age-appropriate Bible awards and Activity awards, such as drama, cooking or puppetry.
Our Pioneer Girls include daughters of members of SPEP, members of our sister churches, members of other area churches, and girls who are coming to a church for the first time for a meeting of the Pioneer Girls. |
