Writing Forum
The Writing Forum is designed to help writers of all levels and styles to develop
their writing through creative "free-writes," writing exercises that allow writers to tap into themselves without criticisms and negativity. Regardless of what you write—fiction, non-fiction, poetry, anything - the writing forum will provide an exciting time of self-exploration. Writers are encouraged to share and comment (in a positive way) on everyone's work, but no one will be forced to share anything they're not comfortable sharing. It's all about exploring our writing, our world and ourselves.
Ministry Project Forum
Are you a looker? No, I don't mean good looking, though you may be. I mean, do
you ever spend time looking outside your own little circle of living to see what the
rest of the world is like? How about just our community? What about the homeless
guy on the corner of Rt. 2 and Jumpers Hole Rd.? The single moms in the church?
Have you ever wondered what you might be able to do to make a difference in their
lives and thought if you just had someone to serve along side of so you didn't have
to figure it out alone.
If you are a looker--then this is your Forum! We are going to be brainstorming,
advertising and implementing opportunities for all of us to serve and love other
people. We are going to walk along side one another—and bring others along, too.
It's something you are going to want to be a part of!
This Forum will meet at SPEP from 9 to 11 a.m. and begin on Saturday, October 6th. It will run every other Saturday until January.
