Creative Design is an intergenerational small group focused on studying art as God describes it in the Bible, what it means to be a Christian artist, and to look at design using personal creativity and interest in photography, painting, drawing, music, and crafts.

Will be meet this Fall during the Sunday School hour in the room behind the Sanctuary (entrance behind the choir loft) in the Art Studio/Flower Room.

We will be using the book Art for God’s Sake by Philip Graham Ryken…

To see color as God describes it in the Biblical scriptures.

What it means to fulfill your calling as a Christian Artist.

To understand art in God’s framework using the Bible.

Art is for the glory of God and maintaining the standards of truth.

The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.  Exodus 31:1-5
