Pioneer Clubs
Pioneer Clubs is a national program, supporting clubs through a Bible-based curriculum. Pioneer Club is a ministry to girls aged pre-school through 6th grade.
We are excited to announce that Registration for Pioneer Girls is now open. We start on Tuesday, September 12. If you love teaching girls about life and the Lord, please prayerfully consider joining our leadership team. We have positions for Bible teachers, activity leaders, substitutes and one-time event/activity helpers. To volunteer or seek more information, please email Sarah Bauman and Elissa Gangl at [email protected].
Pioneer Club is a place where girls have fun learning new skills, socializing with peers, tapping into their creativity and expending their energy.
The purpose of Pioneer Club is to integrate spiritual and personal development so that girls learn to follow Christ in every aspect of life. They build healthy relationships with friends, caring adults, and most importantly, Jesus. Bible study, scripture memory, life skills, discipleship and outreach are all emphasized.
Girls learn God’s Word and how to apply it though Bible exploration each week. The program focuses on hiding God’s Word in their hearts through memorization and learning to live out the truth of Scripture. Earning activity awards is exciting and fulfilling for the girls as these activities help them to develop a variety of life skills, such as art, sports, first aid, hiking, drama and more. As girls complete the requirements for an activity, they earn an award for that accomplishment.
Special events throughout the year include monthly fun nights, a pajama fashion show, gingerbread decorating, hiking and camping trips, the annual winter party, Christmas and Easter service projects, and awards ceremonies. Pioneer Club is outreach oriented and girls are encouraged to invite their friends from school and their communities.
For the protection of all our children, All SPEP staff, church officers and adult volunteers working with children and teens are required to have a fingerprint supported background check searching state and federal databases. See Policies page to read our full child safety program.
