We believe families are vital to the spiritual growth and well-being of our students. At SPEP we value the importance of connecting and working with parents within our youth ministry. The reality is that parents have the strongest influence over a child through all aspects and seasons of a child’s life, including adolescence. In fact, the family is the first small group to which a child belongs and one of the longest consecutively running influences in a student’s life. So, you as parents matter and the impact of your relationship with your child from infancy to adulthood matters. Therefore, SPEP youth ministry hopes to partner with and equip you for this journey of parenting a teen.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
