SPEP Adventure Week 2025

Follow the trail forged by Jesus Christ on His Upward Bound expedition to the ultimate summit – salvation and life eternal with our great God.

Who: Adventurers age 4-years-old (by July 1) to completed 5th grade.(Registration full for 4-5 yr olds)

When: July 7th – 11th, 2025, 8:45 to 12:15 pm

Where: Severna Park Evangelical Presbyterian Church – 114 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena MD

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

– Colossians 3:1 – 4

The Message

Each day our adventurers will learn about God through the Hikers Code.

  • Monday : Jesus is our Great Guide
He left Heaven to forge a trail through sin, back to the Ultimate Summit – union with God in Heaven.

  • Tuesday : Follow the Path
When we go our own way, we get lost in the woods. Jesus invites us to follow His path instead of trying to make out our own.

  • Wednesday : We can rely on Christ’s supply.
Jesus met people where they were and provided for them. He changed their lives and He can change us too if we trust in Him.

  • Thursday : There’s only one bridge to New Life Ridge
Even with the best tools, we can’t get there on our own. The only way to be saved (to the summit) is by accepting Jesus lived a perfect life, died in our place, and defeated death by rising again.

  • Friday : Head towards the summit — We are upward bound!
We continue our journey knowing that one day we’ll enjoy eternity with Christ in Heaven.
